Unexpected Exposure

Staying in a hotel and got caught naked in my room. I didn't think it was my day for my room to be cleaned. So was nude. Had just gotten back from a work out at there exercise room. and had a shower, and was in the buff. I didn't even see a cleaning cart on my floor, so had no worries. Hadn't even put the lock on the door. Was setting watching TV when the door opened and she walked in. Needless to say was a little startled. Stood up and she had this surprised look on her face. She apologized for not knocking first. But to my surprised she didn't bailout of the room, but asked if she could clean anything. and went through the list, bathroom, bed, trash, if i needed any towels. Not sure if I was more freaked out or her. Looked like it might have been me.

Has happened to me more than once. Probably because, when I am staying in a hotel, I strip off as soon as I enter the room and only get dressed immediately before leaving. Never had a bad reaction from the staff, normally female, and as you found they normally just ask if its OK to carry on.
On one occasion, where my schedule meant I worked in my room every morning, the maid came in every day to find me naked and just carried on as normal and chatted to me. As she said she had seen it all, and more, before and it was my room and I was entitled to do what I wanted in it. She said it was an occasional occurrence rather than regular, that she had never felt threatened by a naked person in their room, and said my lack of concern on being found naked was a nice change. Most people leap up and grab whatever they can to cover up.

I am almost always nude in the hotel room, too.
I put out the Do Not Disturb sign and have never had a cleaning person walk in.
If I am in the room most of the day, which is rare, I miss having the room cleaned and refreshed, but we don't clean and replace sheets and towels daily at home, so we don't need it in a hotel room either.
