This is great news, how things should be, music, friends and hanging. I'd love to take my sons to a venue like that.
You can of you put effort into searching out genuine naturist places instead of focusing on the places that aren't open to all kinds of people. Those places will eventually go away sadly they won't be replaced.
Because this is how the true purpose of nudism/naturism is distorted. Type "nudist" in any search engine and you end up with porn, mostly. A person has to really dig before finding some reference that isn't sexual in nature.Since sexuality and nudism is conflated in the media and hence in the public mind, we're going to continue to have a problem in getting our message across, don't you agree?
Thing is that people who suggest we.move to another country want to put their view as nudism/naturism while destroying the opportunity for the rest of us who don't subscribe to that approach. That is the only reason I begin to speak up on this site because those folks like your said have distorted the understanding of nudism/naturism online and corrupted the perception with the mainstream. Many of them without ever being involved in authentic in person social nudism.
In the 6 or so years Ive been frequenting nudist places, I have only seen one slight erection. It was a young (20 something) man at a dance. It was his first time socially nude and he was dancing with an older women. I, and I think everyone else at the dance didnt shame the guy. After the song he did sit down and cover up and was fine. It is a natural reaction but understanding that it can make some women uncomfortable means that the polite thing to do if and when it happens is to cover up.
What you describe above is an authentic description of how erections are handled appropriately in social nudism. Their is no hysteria as some online would have you believe except if as some seem to desire there is not effort to cover up but rather there is more of an effort to highlight the erection.
In that case there is usually a response based on the code of conduct of the group for the reasons you describe and to maintain respect for every not just a single individual.
during my 1st visit to a nudist resort ( i was 20 at the time ) we met the owner and during our conversation he made a simple comment that said it all , his exact words were ,
" son if you can't do it in church, you can't do it here "
that was 46 years ago and its still words to live by !!!

With the obvious exception of being there naked, which is why you are there but can't do in church!

Beg to differ might not be easy to find but there are opportunities. Maybe not for everyones brand of church but church services exist at some resorts and the naked apostles post their Bible studies lead by a couple naked (some of the participants are as well) online.
(Please leave arguments, targeting, and hateful comments out. I want to have genuine discussions about sexuality and nudism)I will try to have genuine discussion with but your previous interactions with me make me question the authenticity of your request.Nonetheless lets look at the two examples you give women menstruating and other bodily functions. I wonder how many women you have seen at nude beaches or nudist resorts who highlight their vaginas during time that their are experiencing their natural menstrual flow. Probably not many if any. Why is that? Because something being natural doesnt mean it is something to put on public display. It is the same with other natural bodily functions as well.Defecating and urinating are natural bodily functions however we a a society dont appreciate men or women clothed or unclothed carrying out those natural bodily function in a public fashion and particularly in a manner that calls attention to their behavior. So in an attempt to have reasoned discussion you requested please help be understand how or why an erections which you rightly describe as a natural bodily should be the only one exempt from the code of behavior and social conduct that we have for other bodily functions? And further why would being naked make it more acceptable or less subject to social norms?
Ive never said erections should be the only one exempt. And Im glad you bring up urinating and defecating. First of all, those bodily functions can be controlled by most to an extent. Those things dont just slip out whenever they want to normally, we have ways to hold it until its convenient. Erections and menstruation cannot be held in or controlled in the same way.
Another thing is our social conditioning to react to bathroom talk and discussion so negatively. Is this not something we all do every day? Then why is it so shameful to talk about? Sure its unpleasant to smell or see, but merely talking about something we all do is still seen as a bad thing.
The way we build and use bathrooms are very inefficient and counterintuitive too. Why must bathrooms be gendered? Were we conditioned to just expect that or is there an actual reason for it? Theres also the problem of bathrooms not being accessible to many people with disabilities.
But thats all a discussion to be had elsewhere since it doesnt relate to this topic. Im just curious why so called nudists and naturists are so quick to judge and shame peoples bodies. I thought the beauty of nudism and naturism is to appreciate the body and all that it does? Unless Im getting the messaging wrong and there are rules to what parts of the body you can appreciate and cant.
SO WHAT THE HECK IS THE TRUE ISSUE HERE?
I have the same questions! All I know is that I was born into a society that doesnt appreciate nudity. So what happened? It wasnt the fault of the current younger generations. It was the fault of the majority of the older generations who are quick to judge and want things to go a specific way that makes them the most comfortable. And so body positivity and being naked and happy were pushed to the side and meant to be done privately. Now were not supposed to be proud of being naked.
