RE:For President: 2024

This is the first election for president where I am totally un-enthused. America is sunk and no one running can save it

Here is what tell people who are "shocked" to hear that I am going to support Trump. There have been a few polls in recent months that show that over two-thirds of the citizens (same in Canada by the way) believe that the country is going in the wrong direction. They do not say in which direction the country should go, and no doubt that is disagreement on exactly what direction we should go....however, there is just a "feeling in the bones" that we are headed in the wrong direction.

If so, that does not mean that we need to make a modest course correction. We need wholesale change in direction! If we accept that this is necessary, then we ask ourselves, "Do we need a nice guy as President or an Ass-kicker?" I think the circumstances call for the latter, not the former. And of the two running for President, who is the Ass-Kicker? Clearly Trump.

This questions answer is a no brainer; even thought fogged Burden could figure this one out. Trump is the only viable candidate from our choices to be president. Theres a lot more that could be said but it would make little difference; the party mechanism is too much in control of the pool. Trump in 2024!! The real question is how many *absentee* votes will the Democrats find? Pull your shoulder harness down tight as this could get very bumpy through the election.

No question for me - Trump!! And for those who doubt he can win, he is ahead in most of the 8 states that will decide the election. Unfortunately, I live in NY - but only for another 15 months. The NYSlimes cannot figure him out. He is not an ideologue, he is a realist. A lot of his sound bites are just to keep getting attention. He is a master of mobilizing the legacy news media to cover him - all free promo for him! The court cases are a boon for him - gives him a perpetual platform. Everything was better under Trump - better economy, better foreign policy, less crime, strong military. He fought COVID - got a vaccine faster than everyone thought. He doesn't lie, but the way he tells the truth is sometimes hard to swallow. He is energetic, photogenic, a communicator. And he is scary independent, which is why the elites and their useful idiots are afraid of him. He might actually dismantle parts of the government we don't need! Justice Thomas will probably not last another four years - we want Trump to pick his replacement!

As I stated earlier, we must remain hyper vigilant for voter harvesting. It doesnt matter so much about actual individual citizen votes, but the outcome hinges on the number of paper ballots received and certified for each candidate. Sometimes it seems that the political party found the *Extra strength Miracle Grow* for their *get out the ballots* initiative. Those things were coming out of everywhere. If only we could do the same with corn!

RE:For President: 2024

Well gang, we have had quite the turn of events in the last two weeks! What are your thoughts?

Here are some of mine:
* the image of Donald Trump with blood on his face and his fist in the air will go down in history. It may not be quite like raising the flag on Iwo Jima, but it immediately raised his profile and the number of votes that he will get in November. I felt that the presidential race was over as soon as I saw it.

* We will probably discover that Joe Biden is much further "gone" than even most of us conservatives realize. You may have seen reports of a "health scare" during a recent trip to Las Vegas. He was initially going to be rushed to the hospital, but instead raced back to Delaware. His own brother Frank said "Selfishly I will have him back to enjoy whatever time we have left in our lives". Frank Biden, has suggested that the presidents decision to drop out of the race "boils down" to his "overall health and vitality"

* Kamala Harris will be a terrible candidate. People will recount her "Heels Up Harris" past. (Her first public role was as the mistress to the Mayor or San Francisco. You can look it up). She is not bright and tends to talk in a "word salad."

The election is not today. We have a lifetime between now and November 5th. But, things are certainly trending in the right direction. For now, I will take it!
