Would you surf naked?

Most of us enjoy swimming in the ocean nude; but have you ever rode a surf board nude?

I have always wanted to after a surfed so much in my teens but only ever skinny dipped.

Unlike my previous 'would you' topics; this one has no great criteria around the opportunity.

Its simply you, a beach and you have a surf board?

Now I know some are going to say "I can't ride a surf board" or its "dangerous on your own" - so take some poetic licence and assume you can ride a surf board and perhaps there is a few of you together...

Hawaii men always surfed naked until Europeans stopped them from doing so.
Time to try surfing nude as it was intended to be done,

I never learned how to surf, but have water skied quite a bit. I have wanted to get the chance to water ski naked, but never had the opportunity.

I dont know how to surf, but if the opportunity to learn nude presented itself, why not? It would have to be in water warm enough to not need a wetsuit.

Sounds like swimming naked except you're not 'protected' by the water but out in the open (at least until you wipe out). May have to be judicious in the selection of location in terms of acceptability, let alone in terms of where the breaks are!

I'm thinking my otherwise ideal locations in Queensland would be problematic in terms of their nudity laws.

Grew up skinny dipping on Midwest lakes but never surfed in the buff. I have done a very brief stand up paddle board ride in the buff ( talk about feeling exposed ) and done many miles of nude kayaking . I would surf in the buff if the opportuity came up.

Absolutely - here in QLD would be problematic; but I would love to hear from someone who has surfed nude in QLD!

I believe Flick comes from around Margaret River in WA...I'm not sure about WA nudity laws but I know their beaches are usually without a heap of folks around...so do as one pleases I guess!

If paddle boarding counted that would be an affirmative

Well I reckon that counts!

Does the lake go to public lands or other private lands not part of Cypress Cove?

It is all woodlands around the lake, but I dont think Cypress Cove owns all of that land. Theoretically someone might be able to walk through the woods to the waters edge without going on Cove property and watch the nudists. There is a textile campground next door that might own some of the shoreline.
