It's almost camping time!!!
I have never heard of doing a waterproofing spray on the tent. Its been years since I have used mine and wanting to get out camping more this year. I guess I should look into doing that as a precaution. Thanks for the public service announcement.
Sure you can find a good silicone base waterproofing on line. I keep a few cans in my gear box and spend a few minutes spaying down my tent every time I set up. Do all the windows and door seams really well. I also do the screens as well. Hate to have a rain storm ruin the weekend.
There some videos on youtube (waterproofing tents) about using silicone caulking and mixing in bucket with mineral spirits and soaking the tent or any material to be waterproofed. but spraying is also a solution. love camping season. have a great camping season.
