Rotator Cuff Health: Shoulder Horn

Shoulders are such precarious parts of our body. Magnificently designed, but fragile. I have never heard anyone say this so I could be the first. The shoulder blade is the key to shoulder health. The scapula is a bone that floats in space. It is only connected by small ligaments to the collar bone and humerus. Otherwise, it depends on muscles to exist.

One of the four rotator cuff muscles is the infraspinatus. It is a weak external rotator that helps stabilize the shoulder. The general rule is that once the big muscle movers get tired, the smaller muscles become susceptible to injury. So it is important to isolate these little muscles.

The shoulder horn is an amazing tool. You can do the same movement in many ways. But if you can find this tool, it is very helpful.
