Married to my HS Sweetheart for over 39 years! We've been together since the summer before our Junior year. We might have been together our sophomore year but she couldn't have a "boyfriend" during that time. We met at a after game (football) dance our freshman year. She was part of a small group, consisting of mainly girls, that were more of the intellects and not the "popular/social" group. I think my mom liked that I was going to hang with kids that would boast my school work! I danced with all the girls my freshman year but was drawn to my wife instantly. I pursued from a distance. Come our sophomore year, I would make sure to dance with her the first dance, a couple in between and always saved the last dance for her. By the end of our sophomore year and headed into summer, we were secretly attached. By the end of summer we were openly attached and it didn't sit well with her mother ... but after 43+ years of being together ... I think my mother in law's gotten over it! :D
