Gender balance

I hope sex and sexuality was the correct choice!
So everyone knows tons of men are nudists or naturists - just look at this site as one example. I find beaches are the same, in that there is generally a higher prevelance of single men to single women.
I'd like to start a discussion about the possible effects of the feminist movement on naturist gender balance over the coming decades - do you think female empowerment might blance things out? Is western culture changing so fast that in 20 years 'meerkat' behaviour might have died out, likewise penis/erection centric behaviour by single guys might calm down a tad?
I just want to open the topic, maybe others don't even think this is an issue! pls post your thoughts.
