Retired Air Force

Hi everyone,
Thought I would like to chat with others that have been in some of the same places as I have and hear about other places I never made it too.
I started out at Grissom AFB, In. 1986-1990
Shimeya was a nice place with a breeze blowing most of the time. 1990-1991
Patrick AFB, Fl was quite a shock for the breeze there didn't try to take you out to sea all the time and much warmer. 1991-1997
Elmendorf AFB, Ak. my second time to Alaska and I was really happy with getting to be back. 1997-2001
Vandenburg AFB, Ca. I'm glad I was able to see California for my self. A lot more to it than what you see on TV most of the time. 2001-2004
Eielson AFB, Ak. I made it back for the third time. Nothing like getting three overseas assignments and never leaving the US. 2004-2007
Now retired in North Pole, Ak just a few miles from the base and am so glad I had a good time serving. I miss it some times but not the desert one bit.
