RE: Recommendations, Upgrades, Bugs

I did come up with something. Not really a request to change anything per se, but I notice that when I (or others for that matter) post an original thread in the forums, a bunch of code is inserted within the text of the post that makes it hard to read the post. After the first post I made, I noticed it so now I always go back and "edit" and clear all of the stuff out. This only happens on an original post however and I've never had it happen if I'm replying to someone else's post. I do type my posts as a Word document and then cut and paste it so that I get the benefit of spell check and such. Is that causing me to have the issue or is there something that can be switched "off" in the forums to prevent it from happening?

When composing in word or when copying from another source - copy and paste into notebook, then copy and paste from notebook onto the forum, this will remove the html code. Not sure why this works, but it does. This tip was discovered and given by Philfree and can be found here on the forum under: Frequently asked questions - Did u know and Before you post...

I don't seem to be able to add anything into LOCATIONS. I know some great places in Croatia, Sicily - even Australia! And I'd like to see what others have to say about places I go: Switzerland, Southern Germany (Bodensee), France - other than all the obvious resort places... Have I missed omething about how to add and/or view this part o the site?

RE: Group messages

I think somebody needs to go to the Computer Club group and swat up on the site tips.

Unfortunately, I'm still writing the tip that's entitled "How to win friends and influence people!"

If I were in charge and had the know-how to do so, I would add a regularFAQsection to the main site.I would alsoadd asearch feature to the forum. If both of those features existed and if members were Internet savvy enough to use them, it could cut down on the considerable repetition in the forum.

Also, I would create the ability to delete posts so that when a user, like me, creates a mess like the one above, then they could delete their mess.
