Are you on a list?

I suspect that there are lists of old men that scammers and fakes have access to when they join TN. How else can you explain the women who join and within a day contact you saying how great you are. I for one get lots of these people and wish they would stop trying to separate me from my retirement money. I'm sure that many of you have had similar experiences.

Most definitely. These types of female/male scammers are all over this site. You just need to expose them for what they are and if you are in an interesting conversation with one of them ask them to meet in person. That will be the first flag because they're not going to show. As they say let the buyer beware.

And I though these young sexy girls really wanted to get to know me! it is annoying and I wish they could do something about it. I like meeting new people, but I like real people.

i get a few each week seems like. I flag all that want me to email them or go to another website to chat. I don't like the scammers and flag them all!

All they have to do is search within a certain age range and your profile may pop up. If they tell you to go to another site to contact them, flag them as fake. If they message you or send a friend request flag them for unsolicited messages. This site should install software to prevent these bots, but I can't even get them to fix it so I can delete old messages from three years ago.

I don't know which is worse the one's who come on to us via the message system, or those who advertise their services in the various groups. What I'd like to know, is why don't the admins do something about it?

What I also find interesting is that they have few if any pictures in their profile, what they do have are sexualized, no nudes. Und they also have very little IF any information in their profile.

I just "flag" their profile as fake. Usually their message comes with a website with a suggestive name.

theres no list, but it cant be difficult to spot the kind of people that may be soft targets. the scammers are clever, and many people here, and elsewhere, arent too bright, which is why they fall prey to those who would take from them. weve never been scammed, but we are naturally sceptic, especially when it comes to new/recent profiles that have pictures of young and attractive women attached to them. stop browsing these profiles, and stop leaving comments on them, and they'll ignore you too
