BALLS!

. . . the other part of what makes us males. There's any number of penis groups here on TN: large penises and small ones; circumcised/ uncircumcised, foreskin restoration, etc. However, there's none that I'm aware of having to do with testes. I've titled the Group "Balls" since, aside from at the doctor's office, it's the term most frequently used in referring to...

Another neat thing about balls is that, if they expand and contract, can hang high or hang low, they must be able to stretch, having an inherent elasticity. There's an engineering term that describes this for different materials: Modulus of Elasticity:

The modulus of elasticity (also known as the elastic modulus, the tensile modulus, or Young's modulus) is a number that measures an object or substance's resistance to being deformed elastically (i.e., non-permanently) when a force is applied to it.

Likely not the balls themselves, but the scrotum that stretches to allow movement.

Several years ago there was a stage show titled "Puppetry of the Penis" that ran off-Broadway in New York for a number of years, as well as in other places and countries. It was originated by a couple of Australian guys who referred to it as the art of Aborigine Genital Origami. The two of them would be onstage, twisting their balls and penises into all sorts of shapes--Hamburger, sailboat, etc., sounds similar to what you describe, with big screen monitors on either side of the theater for audience close-up viewing. There used to be videos of the entire show (in segments)online, probably still there if you do an Image search for "Puppetry of the Penis". Unbelievable!!!

The testes make sperm better at a few degrees temperature less than normal body heat. Thus the cremasteric muscles adjust the hang to adjust the temperature. I for one do not like my scrotum shrunk up with my testes high inside me. I wear a cock ring in the winter to prevent this. I will some times wear ball weights to encourage a low hang. I find both of these more comfortable to wear if smooth and hairless.
