Hawaii in December - maiden voyage

I'm planning my maiden voyage to Hawaii in December for winter break. My lifestyle is pretty physical and my very flexible aim is to get a taste of Hawaii, the big island, in 2.5 weeks - sightseeing, camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, naturist activities, etc. I am including one of the Kalani men's retreats. Any recommendations?
