I have been stung many times by wasps and have been bitten by wasps too...it is important that you are not allergic...then it is really dangerous.
I have been stung by wasps a few times. The worst was when I accidentally hit a rotting tree trunk on the neighbor's side of the property line.
I was wearing shorts but no shirt, so I had a few stings and or bites on the exposed skin.
