well, I've been on this site over two years, and shared the odd frustration of being a nudist in suburbia. I've now bought four acres about an hour from where I lived before. Since being here, I've been naked as much as possible. Its not completely isolated, but in the main it is private.
Plenty of work to do, with a neglected orchard to clean up, everything is overgrown and needs cutting back and plenty of grass to cut. The beauty is being able to disrobe as soon as I'm home, and remain that way until I leave again

Good on you for following through on something that will make you happy. It sounds ideal. I'd be interested in seeing photos of your property if your inclined to share them. Being from North America, images of desert come to mind when I think of Australia. I'm sure there is much more to it than that. Best of luck with your new home. Be sure to pace yourself with the projects. It sounds like you have a pretty long list.
I'll post some photos as I get busy around the place. Not quite desert :), Where I am, I get on average 760 mm/30 in rainfall a year, and the property is reasonably wooded with eucalypts. Yep, I need a long term plan...

I'd be more than happy to come along if you need a (nude) hand in the orchard, or wherever. Let me know :-)

thanks Kristian. I'll see you at one of your coming meetup events.

Hey there. Did you see that I have scheduled a meetup for Saturday the 9th of February up at the Cherry Gardens Hall? Check the website if you can make it.

Also, I was in the Kuitpo area just last week looking for a nice area for our group to go for a nude bushwalk. I know there are some really nice trails up in the forest up there, but, the state can't condone an official nude walk on their property, unfortunately. Is your new property large enough, and secluded enough, for us to come up for a picnic lunch and a walk around? What do you think?
Cheers,
Kristian

RE:my new naturist home

My wife and I currently live in town with our house right on the main street in town. I completely understand the desire to be naked outside and having limited opportunities. We dont have much of a back yard and what little we do have is openly exposed to the neighbors. So my opportunity is mainly in the early mornings before anyone else is awake.

Weve been talking about, with an occasional look, of moving out to the country. I would love to be able to get naked outdoors more often, especially when the sun is shining!

Enjoy the opportunity and make the most of it!

My wife and I might be relocating because we might be getting different jobs. As we browse through online real estate listings, I am preferring to find a place in the country where I can enjoy more time being naked outdoors...but those properties are few and far between (much less within our price range). So, as we look at houses located inside city and surrounding communities, I'm looking for those with backyard privacy. I don't want to give up my morning naked coffee during the warmer weather months!

RE:my new naturist home

Sounds like a great place.

lived and worked in a Palm Springs California suburb for a number of years and was able to purchase a home with a pool and spa in the back yard. The home was situated on a corner lot and only one bedroom faced the street. The remaining rooms either faced the back yard pool and spa or faced the side yard. the house was ringed by a six foot cinder block wall. This afforded me privacy that I had only had once before. Having been a nudist and living in the Southern California Desert, this house was perfect. I thought of adding more cinder blocks to the yard fence but chose not to in case I met neighbors who were of the same mind as me.

I would come home from work and strip down, then walk into the backyard pool and cool off in the relaxing waters. It was heaven.

I was single at the time and dated some. My dates and I would come back to the house on a Saturday or Sunday or after work and would get comfortable and have cocktails by the pool or relax in the livingroom. Of course I let all visitors know the pool was a nude only pool. The visitors that came over agreed to the rules of the house. Then, as they became more relaxed, they left their clothes off in the house as well, unless it was too cool. Towels were plentiful for sitting on and I had purchased some terrycloth robes for visitors to use if they chose.

It was a wonderful place to live and suited my lifestyle perfectly. Unfortunately, the economy changed, I lost my job and the house as well. But the experience has stayed with me. I am trying to duplicate the experience the next time I relocate to the Southern California area, or possibly Nevada or Florida.

The experience was extraordinarily invigorating.
