Artistic Photos

This is a place to post your "artistic" photos for others to view and enjoy. However you choose to define "artistic" is up to each individual. The genesis of this idea for me was having taken some shadow/silhouette photos, wanting to share them, but not really knowing where to post them. They are "soft" nude photos that are more provocative than explicit. Hoping...

Hi. I joined this group some time back but till now only as a browser. I thought it time I became more involved. I'm submitting my 1st examples from my portfolio. I appreciate any comments and critiques as well as suggestions. It's the only way one improves.
I've been into photography as a hobby for most of my life. Before digital cameras came along I focused on nature and scenic shots. But I had always longed to try my hand at the human form. Having to have my film developed kept me from venturing into such an art type. Digital changed all that. My next issue was finding willing models so out of necessity I learned to model for my own shots. Today I sometimes model for others as well as myself. I thoroughly enjoy trying to capture on film what I envision in my head.

RE:Hello all

Hi everyone, as a fully paid lifetime member of TN, I am unable to post my pics on this site because I am not certified. I refuse to look like a convict by holding a poster with numbers on it in front me. But you may see my pics on my profile page. Love you all.

You should be able to post your pics here, certified or not. I posted lots of mine before I became certified.

It is unlikely that I will get certified. I am disappointed with the change in policy.

RE:Hello all

We decided (by default being without a printer at the time) to take our certification picture by displaying the bullshit page TN requires on our computer screen and snapping the picture with us smiling next to the screen. It looks nothing like a jail picture, though it still took about four times doing it before we got it right and got approved.

I keep thinking it is time for us to get more artistic with our camera and appreciate all of your thoughts on the topic. My first camera was at around ten and I miss the old film camera days. I don't miss the worry about whether my more artistic (AKA showing more flesh than most) pictures may offend someone who's processing them, or even get me in trouble. Digital photography has opened the world for most of us and I hope we get some really interesting pictures to view in here soon. The more pictures I show my sweetie, the more open I hope to get her to pose for my camera, to help quell the artiste in me!
