Australian Naked Hikers

With Australia been such a big place, and most of the Naturist Locations been towards the coast, This group has been started to fill the Gap in Inland areas. Once we get numbers up I will try and organize Day Hikes, Overnight Hikes, and possibly even Week Long Hikes. As well as possible visits to beaches and resorts once the club is a bit bigger.

Winton Wetlands, formerly Lake Mokoan, near Benalla VIC. The bird life and sunsets can be spectacular. The terrain is very flat so its not very challenging. The Southern half of the wetlands is very quiet with well formed roads suitable for walking and cycling that are accessible to park staff only. The odd cyclist or walker that does visit this end of the wetlands invariably trek on top of the dam wall track along the South West boundary. In the three years I've been trekking the center I've only come across one other person - a photographer with a motorcycle decked out like something out of a Mad Max movie, camping out to capture the sunset and full moon. Most people visiting the wetland do so in the Northern half which receives more media attention and can be traversed by private vehicles.
To access the Southern section, I recommend entering the Wetlands via the signposted walking track near the bridge on Nelson Road, Winton North. -36.510185, 146.048754
