A place for Australians to meet rather then surfing through random countries for friends, not that there is any thing wrong with that as I fully believe we should look past our own horizon and experience other cultures. It just makes it a bit easier to meet up for functions if we're in the same country.

Anyone here visited Myrtle Beach in Murramarang on the NSW south coast? Whats it like?
Were looking to head there this weekend or next weekend.

Lovely beach, but I have only been there the once. The road in is dirt and can be rather rough. The track isn't bad, with stairs at the beach end.

I echo jorgerine's comments. It's a beautiful little beach a bit off the beaten track. A few years since I was there, but we did it in regular (non 4wd) cars.

Hi all,

We finally made it to Myrtle Beach a couple of weeks ago. Nice little spot.
Weve made plans to head there this coming Monday. Cant wait!

Is this the official CO beach near Batemans Bay or is there another one? I went to the CO beach at Bermagui and when I headed back to Vic I drove through Batemans Bay, didn't stop but was aware there was a CO beach there somewhere.

Myrtle is an unofficial CO beach. Its well sheltered and generally pretty clam.
Armands on Bermagui is pretty good.
