Backyard Nudists

This is a group for those who may be Home Nudists or those who cannot always get to a Nudist Colony, Camp, or Resort and therefore take things into their own backyard! Whether your backyard is private enough or not, perhaps you lay out nude, skinnydip, garden, or mow the lawn, this group is for you!

Being fully naked at outdoor area is so excited feeling and the best and safe place to do that is the backyard so I am always completely naked at
my backyard .

RE:Safe backyard

Call it safe or call it private, your own space behind a house can become an oasis, a retreat. To me it's as important as the house itself. A place to escape and only those you invite to enter can do so.

Agreed! I hate to admit it but each home we've looked to buy, once it checked all the boxes on needs inside and on paper, the privacy of the backyard was the next highest priority. Many times, Di would be walking around inside a model, and I'd walk around outside to check on privacy potential. Then it was to the sales office to find out what surrounded our perspective property. Once I had checked all my boxes for a safe and private naked backyard and Di checked her boxes for inside, we decided and put down a deposit. It was quite the process, but we got better with each home purchased.

Our nudist friends all have acreage. They have neighbors that are 100 yards or more away from them. They have near 100% nude use of their entire properties. We live in a tract home in a development. When they visit, they tend to feel a little closed in. Most times, they only stay for about 4 days then we take off and head to a resort or our club and stay another 4 days in a bit more open space.

Those 'thumbs up ' neighbors are the best, you might even inspire him to go naked too?

RE:Safe backyard

I have a safe deck, not a backyard, but big enough to lay out naked, have morning coffee naked and do nude yoga.I enclosed the deck because my wife wanted to sunbathe naked and the neighbors could see her.she used to cover the railings with blankets and towels but one day a strong wind blew them off and the neighbors got a show. The neighbor lady said she didn't mind but her husband was out there a lot so I enclosed the deck. Now I am a empty nester and I'm out there a lot. Just had a nice weekend, weather wise. I got home Friday evening, took off my clothes and still haven't put any on and its Monday afternoon.

RE:Safe backyard

This all captures so much of our lives over the past two years. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Here's ours: A few years ago we put a raised deck on the back of our home that we like to use for sunbathing or just sitting outside in nature. We live on a corner property and its hilly with a few homes around us so in winter there is no outdoor privacy and we have sheer drapes where needed for indoor privacy.

In summer there were plenty of full, mature hardwood trees so a lot of privacy all around, but two years ago a neighbor's tree fell across the yard and took out a few others. There still are some trees but an overzealous tree guy took out a lot more than needed to clean it up so the cover is thinner than we really need.

In years past we wouldn't have cared, but now as empty nesters with no need to cover up it has been a priority to get our privacy back. First we put some greenery and screens up on the deck itself to cover the first 4 ft. Then a series of plantings in the yard and training other plants to grow up rather than across. Also the sun now hitting some trees that weren't getting much light has led to a burst of new growth this year on the back border so we're mostly there and optimistic for the privacy we want in the next year or two.

As others have said in this chain have been saying, anywhere we go from here privacy would be high on the list of requirements. Something that we were never concerned about has now become a real priority!

Completely agree with Time2Play. When we bought our home recently privacy was high on our list of requirements. On our first visit we saw the backyard and knew this was the house for us. Pine trees surround our property giving us almost complete privacy. One would have e to deliberately look through the branches to see anything. We spend quite bit of time out on our deck and in the backyard. Weather permitting, we spend that time nude. No neighbors have a direct line of sight into our home. None of the windows directly face any homes so we can be nude inside without any curtains. We do everything without worry about offending anyone. Life is good.
