Removing the existing arch isnt as easy as you think. You will need to do a lot of reglassing and gelcoat repairs. Matching the gel oat will be difficult due to the existing being older and weathered. If you want to add a raised tow point, go with a removable post mounted in the aft part of the cockpit. Its far easier!
