Return to DiscussionsBack in the early to mid-80s it was not uncommon to see the occasional beach goer on the trail nude.
I even did it a couple of times during the week when there was not as large a crowd as on the weekend.
Since I drive nude I simply got out of the car, gathered up my stuff and hit the trail.
I would not do that now.
The authorities do monitor the trail as well as both ends of the beach.
The Friends of Blacks Beach as strongly urged people to only be nude on the beach, otherwise they may try to use that as an excuse to shut down the whole area to nude use.
Wearing a speedo is no problem.
See Thru shorts is questionable. I have never seen anyone either on the trail or beach with that style of shorts on.
I have worn running shorts with the liner cut out that are almost see thru without any problem.
Normally my preference is to simply wrap a towel around me that I can remove as soon as my feet hit the sand.
