This whole thing with Harold Camping and Fmily Radio has created another situation where Bible believing members of Christ Jesus are being mocked. I've had several people on forums and in r/l ask me why I'm still here, then they laugh. No matter how I try to explain it to them, they seem to have a hard time seperating the followers of Camping from the rest of us.
But sill, my concern isn't with those people, other than Salvation. My concern is for those that followed Mr. Camping and gave up everything to do so. I'm sure right now they are very upset and realizing they were taken in by a misguided person. They are realizing they have to rebuild their lives and start over again. And while that's true, I'm more concerned with their spiritual health. Will this cause them to give up on God? Will it make them suicidal? Will they start to question if the bible is really God's word?
I strongly feel that we need to ready to help them as best as we can. Give them a friend to lean on and help guide them back to Christ. I honestly hope that everyone here agrees with me and is ready to help these misguided people.
