Minimalist Bra
Return to DiscussionsDoes anyone have a recommendation for a minimalist bro. My wife has this mindset when she leaves the house she has to wear a bra. Most times st home she doesnt wear a bra but she was brainwashed growing up to believe she be wearing one no matter what when she leaves the house.
This mindset never makes sense to me. Especially when wearing 2-3 layers in the winter time. Anyway looking for an alternative to help her get away from the need of bra or a substitute to help her transition to not using one at all. I looked into like tanks with built in bras but those look uncomfortable also.
Any ladies have any ideas?

Yep. My wife is really starting to take a like to these more minimalistic bras. They look good on her and they arent incumbent. No padding, no wires, the bands arent digging into her and they give her comfort having a bra on with the minimum support to feel like she almost doesnt have one on.
A cupless or open cup bra or lingerie might help to give the familiar support feeling but whilst actually not covering anthing?I dont often wear this sort of things but try it sometimes for something a little different.
Very nice, look lovely in it, suits your nice perky boobs
The history of the bra is interesting. It began around1917 when a woman cut the bottom half of a corset off. But it was in the mid 1920's that a real bra was created. Then war tides began in the late 1930's, and women were requested to be military nurses. Since the breast would bounce or nipple might show the army (and Navy) and that would distract the wounded, bras were required. After WWII it became a fashion statement. So only for the last one hundred years has a woman had wear of suffer the bra.

I don't disagree with getting rid of the corset I mean having your ribs crushed all day sounds miserable. There is always a shift after a major war. I just telling someone that even modern underwear are less than hundred years old. So a lot of what many people consider normal is still new to the history of humans.
Great share thank you.
