Recommendations for places to go...

Return to Discussions

Can anyone recommend places to go for a newbie nudist - preferably in or close to London. As I'm new to this lifestyle I would like to go someplace that is friendly and welcoming and not seedy. There are too many dodgy places in London and I need some help! I also seem to find places that require partners to visit but my wife isn't interested. Thanks is advance I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

If Birmingham is not too far to go for you, I can recommend highly Clover Spa. It is very friendly and welcoming. You can either go as a day visitor to use the spa or stay in the hotel, which is first rate. I've always enjoyed my visits and stays at Clover Spa. I was there a fortnight ago for a weekend stay in the hotel: it was great.

Try a phone call to the Naturist Foundation in Orpington. The always seem to be generally welcoming.

If you join British Naturism they have now taken over a naturist club Sunfolk (used to be called Fiveacres), between the M25 (Junction 21a)/ St Albans in Bricket Wood, and on the St Albans Abbey/Watford Junction Line (nearest station How Wood, about 10-15 minute walk). You can visit on a day ticket (10), and camp there. There's no membership of the club, just being a BN member gives automatic membership. https://www.sunfolk.bn.org.uk/. The club is undergoing some renovation, which is a bit behind because of Covid, but it's already up and running.
