Return to DiscussionsMowed my lawn today for the first time of the season. The front yard I wore a long sleeved shirt ( temp) and my barely there shorts. By the time I got to the south half of the back yard the temps had warmed up enough i lost the shirt. then when it i got to the north part of the backyard off came the shorts. That section I have mowed nude overtime for several years. I don't plan on breaking the streak.
just in from mowing the front yard in my barely there shorts. turns out i could have done it nude since the entire half hour i was out there not a single car went by. Then i stripped off the barely there shorts and raked a portion of the backyard and used the clippings for mulch all in view of the road. I kept an ear peeled for a car but none came by. Came in dripping with sweat. We went from cold grey gloom to hot and muggy in days times. Summer is here, I hope it stays around for the next 3 1/2 months
Same here. I have some barely there shorts I wear for mowing the front yard. The are so short I get to feel the comfort of hanging free on my riding mower. Around the back I can usually be in my usual nude state although I have to watch for the farmers in their fields next to me. The mower is so noisy I can't hear them coming by the fence line on their tractors.

Do you open the crotch also?

Unfortunately I missed doing the first cut this year as it was too cold to do it nude the first time this year and, it needed doing badly as the last couple of cuts last year I missed so it was very long.
It was so cold here in April that I twice had to wear a shirt to cut the grass in addition to shorts. A rare event for me.
