Return to DiscussionsYes, Turtle Lake is the only resort that I'm aware of. You could probably do some primitive camping in the Huron-Manistee National Forests. I wouldn't obviously try to go nude at designated campgrounds, but if there are primitive spots, it's federal land where simple nudity shouldn't be an issue.
If you like crowds, you will love TLR over the 4th! We have gone there several times, but never on jammed packed holiday weekends! It is nice and probably would be fun then too. We know of Spruce Hollow, but have not been. They have a pool and camp site spaces...we may try it this summer. It's on your way back from Mackinac... Let me know wheat you think! Do you think it might be a good place for campers who have never been in a nudist location before(our friends who want to go camping, but are nervous about the nude thing!) Jamie :)
