Is it just me or does anyone else find pictures of men on here showing an erection offensive?

Return to Discussions

I have seen several profile pictures on here of men with an erection. I thought these pictures were not allowed and even as a man I find it disgusting to post a picture like that, especially on your profile. It doesn't surprise me that most couples and women do not want to be friends with single men. I am married and willing to prove it but it is very difficult us married men with non nudist wives to connect when there are men on here with those types of photos.

If they want to post pictures like that at least they should be for their friends only. I don't like going to the search link and the very first profile that pops up is an erection.

Please excuse my rant. I am new to the nudist lifestyle and maybe I am just old fashioned.

I don't think it's appropriate to have a photo with an erection but that's just my opinion... I think people get confused with naturism and sexuality but I know sometimes the lines can be blurred..

You are correct. There are, unfortunately, many men here who continually try to convince us that their sexual attitudes are normal and accepted everyday. They are attempting to create an atmosphere that says, "its no big deal," and that its, "normal and natural." There are other thigs that are normal and natural, but we don't accept them or want to see them.

Just keep declining any requests they make and continue calling them out into the open. I have also found that in chat men become offended at someone bringing their behavior into the light. They want us to just keep it quiet. Why do we have to, "make a big deal about it?" The only way to help solve the problem is to continually show these gentlemen for who they are. And I'm sorry it IS always a male.

I was going to flag the profile but inappropriate picture is not a choice for flagging a profile. I thought all pictures had to be approved and if I remember correctly they do not approve those types of pictures. I deleted a couple of pictures that I uploaded for approval, where I was seated like I normally do when I am clothed because I always sit with my legs spread. If I had clothes on they would be fine but with clothes off I will not post them. Pictures that look okay on my phone because they are small don't look appropriate once they show larger online.

Apologies, I'm not a member of this group but am able to post a reply because I'm friends with Californiacoast.

Part of the problem is that there are now several "Photo Moderators." TT2 used to do ALL the photo moderating but sought help and appointed some people to assist her. These mods do not always follow the rules of TN. There are tons of photos of members that do not follow the rules and guidelines for photo uploads and then these very TN members use many of these photos as their profile picture. When I see blatant abuse of these photo rules, I immediately flag the profile and block the TN member. You are correct. When you flag a member's profile, flagging for offensive photo uploads is not an option and it should be.

Another inconsistency is what constitutes "spread eagle?" I once had a disagreement with TT2 with photos I uploaded of women tanning or sitting and drinking wine or coffee and she disapproved the women photos but approved the men in the same position and stated that "guys always sit like that, but women do not." After I proved to her that many female and couple TN members had submitted photos in the same pose and they were approved, she understood my frustration but now with multiple "photo Mods" there are even more inconsistencies.

Every nudist knows what we have between our legs. Our purpose for posting nudes of myself or each other is not to ensure that all the members of TN see what we have up close and personal. We don't hide our genitals but we don't make them the focus of the photo and quite frankly, as stated by Californiacoast, it's ALWAYS the guys that do this and those women that do this are usually fakes (guys posing as women), using photos off internet porn sites and pretending that those photos are of themselves.

I agree with Californiacoast with regards to guys and photos of themselves with erections. It's a blatant violation of the photo upload rules and these photo Mods need to adhere to the rules or step aside and allow someone else to take that job on that will not play favorites when it comes to uploading photos.
Apologies for the intrusion. ;D

If anyone has ever looked at my pictures has noticed I'm partially covered in cleverly posed positions. I personally like to be a bit facetious with my pics just to be different. :)

I agree! I used be a mod for another site so I learned very quickly who the fakes were. This site does have a lot of fake female profiles and I report them when I run across them.

I agree. I thought pictures that were of a more erotic nature were not allowed. Too me pictures should be nude but tasteful, something a nudist mother would be proud of.

I've probably mentioned this before but sometimes I think the swingers get confused on which site they are on. I see A LOT of pictures on here that would go over better on a site that's more adult entertainment friendly. A site like TN should be tame enough that if your nudist children are looking over your shoulder they wouldn't see something that they shouldn't.

I don't post any for fear of offending others, this said it does not offend me. I find for me my erections are non-voluntary so this idea that it's a switch and it should be avoided at all cost seems tough to keep up with.

I had surgery a few years ago and even with a folly catheter in I had erections (and I am not young). You want discomfort that is the worst, the tube gets caught and rubs (not trying to be offensive saying that)

To me it's a fact of life, should we ban woman from posting photos with stiff nipples? (again not trying to be offensive) but they don't have the tell we do, and our "tell" may not always be what others thing it really is... personally the state of my penis is not always indicative of my arousal.

This might just be me...
