A good read with interviews, etc. Any other website about circ that are a good read? (it's not all about pictures ;-0 experiences, anecdotes and personal views are great to share too)
yes the stories and personal experiences are great. And they make a good read. If we can get to appreciate the diversity that nudity has to offer, more personal conversations are rare although they can offer a sense of fellowship.
I talked about my circ status with a mate from the US (obvious he's cut too - he was curious to find out more about why I was circumcised). Also got to talk about it with another (cut) naturist, well after a few beers
Also got to notice other fellow roundheads while showering or in changing rooms. Although I was curious to hear their stories and views, I rarely dare to ask. Guess I am kind of reserved and I do regret not asking
Yes, it's not something we men ever talk about, not exactly a conversation for the pub. Circumcision is not a subject that comes up often, although I have mentioned that I am when chatting. Probably not something I would have talked about when younger, strange really since it's nothing to be ashamed of, but perhaps a "secret" that only a few might know!
Internet forums are great for this, a chance to exchange stories and experiences with a degree of anonymity.
Or a very socially distanced pub! Mind you, I remember overhearing two couples mentioning circumcision at a restaurant - how it was better , and cleaner etc - they probably didn't realise I could overhear them. Interestingly both the wives and husbands agreed
Good to hear you mentioned the circumcision subject. How did you bring up the subject? was it with other fellow cut mates?
Nothing to be ashamed of indeed, a secret or special bond between circumcised guys.
I d welcome the opportunity to discuss it - maybe I am more comfortable in my own skin / bolder now . Internet forums are great (any you would recommend?) - still a real chat about it would be special. I remember asking a mate I used to go to the gym with if he ever had any surgery. I saw him naked regularly in the changing room and his penis had been tightly circumcised, not a wrinkle of skin on his! I asked him a couple of time if he ever had any surgery and he said no, my hopes of a chat or banter about it were dashed . Maybe he didn't see his circ as a surgery - especially if done with after birth
Don't think I've ever directly discussed circumcision as such, it was a conversation about surgery or scars, and I asked if a circumcision scar counts? I know at least 2 friends would have seen me naked at sports club showers, neither said they had noticed (or admitted they had).
Not sure what other forums are out there these days. There was a Channel 4 programme many years ago My penis and everyone else's and they had a discussion forum. It's long since disappeared, but was good to chat with others on their experiences.
Interestingly I used the same "surgery" angle to touch upon the circ subject. Did you feel a slight twitch in your groin when you mentioned it? lol
I kind of remember such programme on channel 4, it might be available on demand - I didn't realise a forum had been set up. It would have been nice to chat with other viewers, especially other roundheads. I may give a go to the Team Helmet chat - I am not sure how popular it will be as this website is more known for its stories than live chats. The chat on TN can be good - more to talk about our favourite past time than anything else.
With the lockdown, I haven't seen any follow roundheads for a quite a while. I did see other circumcised blokes when I went to a naturist resort last year. I couldn't help to notice
I'm sure some guys would still wince at the thought of surgery on their penis, from the reports I've read, recovery is not as bad as you think. Mine was done a long time.
Channel 4 does of course have programmes like Naked Attraction which aside from the titillation aspect also seeks to educate people on normal bodies and behaviours. Don't see many circumcised men on there, and when it is seen or commented upon, I've not heard a negative response. Sure some women say they like foreskins to play with, equally some say they don't like long overhanging ones as well.
How old were you when circumcised @Smash? I was 6 and don't recall it as a painful experience
Yes I've seen some of the naked attraction shows. Always proud to see other roundheads on show - usually the presenter likes to point it out
PS: I posted another naked pic on my profile. I miss social nudity and today weather is so grim. I had to keep a tshirt on - at least my bellend enjoys some freedom
