I toured Bucharest to Istanbul for 9 days the past couple of weeks. I got matched up with a random roomie. The guy turned out to
be a 50 year old Irishman who had never done a small group tour before. We hit it off immediantly with him being a man of few words and me my normal don't know a stranger chatter. I started our room time together being a bit modest about my nude sleep habits but was more concerned about my snoring habits upsetting him. He put in ear plugs the very first night. The rooms were often small, with less than a meter between beds. He never commented or griped either my snoring, nor my increasingly bold nudity around him . He never totally stripped in my presence but did not mind my lack of clothing. A very good roomie to have. Bulgaria where we spent most of the time was an interesting country with lovely cities and a varying countryside that we watched from trains and did some long hikes in.
