perception on gay nudists - open discussion
Return to Discussionsthis is a recent exchange i had with an individual, mind you, i made no
sexual advances or comments to allude to the fact i was looking to try
and be nude with an ulterior motive. i cannot believe the assumptions
that are made when a few bananas spoil the rest of the fruit bowl. i
would like to open the discussion as to allow both heterosexual and
homosexual nudists to participate in this.

i'm actually offended. just because i am a homosexual does not mean i'm
a sexual deviant or am utilizing this to get some sexual encounters.
the fact that you have the gall to assume such things is completely
disrespectful. nudism isnt about sexual preference, race, gender or
judgement, its about like minded individuals who congregate to enjoy
being in the natural way we are supposed to be. the fact you are
restricting it to "straight buddies" is suspect enough on its own, but
to cut out individuals, who you have not even given a chance to get to
know or communicate with and then make unfounded accusations and
disregard them because of something that shouldnt even be a factor. i
have made no sexual advances toward you and think that you should
realize that in the world we live in, you should open up your mind and
not be such douche.
Happens far to often but people all make assumptions. Ive learned to just accept it and respect that if thats the way they feel than we probably wouldnt have made great friends anyway. Ive met many gay nudists and many straight nudists. All except for 2 of the gay nudists i have met have shown up with the intention of some sexual activity happening. Many have told me they just want to see a bunch of naked men in a room together. I am gay and have kind of drifted away from making other gay nudist friends based on my experiences. I welcome all people and i try not to judge but based on my experiences when meeting nudists I now feel the need to explain to most gay men who claim to be nudists that hanging out in the nude is not a sexual experience for me. Its a lifestyle and id hate for it to be tarnished by some mass orgy breaking out in my living room. (Has almost happened... had to kick everyone out of my house). So all in all. Just try to think of it from both perspectives. Maybe they arent really a nudist and they are looking for something else or maybe they feel like homosexuality makes them uncomfortable and they perfer to just avoid the awkward situation. Food for thought :)
