Return to DiscussionsI've had a lot of experiences, but none as exciting as the members in this thread. I really enjoyed being nude at a non-nudist beach. That is the most daring I've ever done!I think that is the epitome of the most daring thing that any of us have ever done.On thinking about it the real most daring thing I, or any nudist, has done is to venture naked into public space for the first time.By public space, do you mean not in a clothing optional location or a clothing optional venue where you could be seen by people you didn't know?
Whichever came first.
I've done a few daring (and also some really stupid) things. The most daring was probably walking home from a bar late one night with a friend, and we decided to cut through the park (a large inner-city park). This particular friend is who I refer to as my "resident bad influence". I had made the remark that I bet it would be fun & scary to walk through the park nude one time, and he dared me to do it right then. Emboldened by being somewhat drunk, I stripped, gave him my clothes, and walked to the other end of the park proud and naked. We even meandered around the center of the park a short while. It was absolutely thrilling. I wanted to stay nude for the remainder of the walk home, but there were too many cars even at 2:00am.
This is my 2nd post because I can't decide wice was more daring. I slow jogged around my city block completely nude and barefoot in broad daylight. It was a perfect warm rainstorm and I just went for it! (Best experience of my life so far) it felt so natural and right! I passed an older couple walking their dog with an umbrella going the oposite direction as me they glanced repeatedly but really didn't react. I didn't feel the least bit of shame or awkward and I don't think they cared much at all. It likely helped them accept it because I was polite and went to the opposite sidewalk across the street before passing them. so while I didn't hide from them at all it was clear my motive was not to flaunt or offend anyone so they let it slide due my pure motives. I'll be doing this again next time there's a heavy rain and I'm home alone, it's amazing!
I think driving completely nude in the middle of the day for a few hours while traveling is the most daring thing Ive done. I do jog regularly on public trails before sunrise completely nude though. I have passed a few people nude on the trails but its dark so I dont think they actually care or pay attention.

That is definitely daring.
Something I have wanted to do but haven't been daring enough to actually do it.
This week I actually remembered the recycling needed to go out. I was in the back yard having coffee at the time. It was almost light out. I took out the blue crate to the sidewalk and only saw 1 car on the Main Street passing by my next to the corner house. Went back and retrieved the second crate and headed back to the sidewalk just as a suv headed down my street. I kept walking. Not sure if seen but felt great as I walked back to the yard hearing a couple more cars on the cross street going by.
What is daring for one is no big deal for someone else. A lot depends on your past experiences and comfort level of being seen nude.
An example of that is I have been driving nude for more than 50 years and never felt it was very daring but there are many others on this sight that have never driven nude and feel that would be very daring.
For me the most daring would be my first World Naked Bike Ride. There were less than 100 riders and we had no idea how the public would react. I admit I was very nervous when they opened the gate and we all road out onto the street. Fortunately the public reaction was very positive and after a few minutes, riding my bike nude through the streets of Los Angeles felt normal.
I have done a few things that I guess could be called daring but I did them after that first WNBR and felt more comfortable with the possibility of being seen nude by the general public.
I go nude hiking along a forest service road frequented by textile hikers. (have been seen several times with no real issues)
During warmer weather, in the morning before going to work, I will take trash and recycling out to the curb side bins on trash day. I have been seen many times by passing cars and even a few times by people out walking.

You have got it "bang to rights" - the most daring is always the first time for something. In my case it was the first time I walked naked along a public road - even though it was near a nude beach and I knew that nudity was not actually illegal in that country.
There's a small beach in the Tidewater,Va area I had heard that some people would go nude.i visited the beach in my boat putting the bow(front) of my boat up on the beach.i spread a blanket in the Hull of the boat and layer naked on it.after a few minutes I heard voices of beachgoers walking by and not long after that I heard more voices but they abruptly stopped.i opened my eyes planning to investigate when I saw 6 people(3 guys,3 girls) looking into my boat.i acted as if I was fully dressed,I stood up,greeted everyone,bragged on the beautiful weather and asked if they'd like to come onboard.they politely refused and walked up the beach.a few hours later when they walked back I was nude on the beach and as they walked by they smiled and waved
