Gas station/convenience store
Return to DiscussionsI've always wanted to walk into a convenience/gas station naked. I know I'd have to do one that is remote and out of the way of normal traffic. It would be even better if I could get a buddy to do it with me. Any insight as to how I might go about achieving this? I'm in the southeast area of the US.
I would only go into the store at a nudist resort but I have refuelled naked at a self-service station. Security cameras are not continuously monitored and the recording is only ever looked at if an incident has been reported.

Not nude, but my local convenience store at one time allowed shirtless patrons.
When the 3NS sign appeared, I asked for the reason for the change as was told that too many of the shirtless customers were also drunk.
The store is within walking distance of a mid size college.
Oh I'm not deterred. I'll figure some way of doing it one of these days. Partly why I want to find a store that's pretty remote. I might have to see if I know of anyone that works at such a place. But I'd love to hear more stories or suggestions please.
I would definitely not go to the gas station naked, unless local laws permits it (some places in the world do, but not US).
Though, I haven't been dare enough yet to go in short shorts. When I say short, it's a 2 inch inseam, low raise. Got it from woman department of course. Freedom feeling is awesome. Of course, no underwear...
I think the minimum acceptable is 5 inch inseam these days. I saw a guy entering a grocery store with running shorts, must have been a 3 inch. And actually, even if you have a look, no one made a comment.
I went to a store once in Illinois with a 4 inch inseam, I got looks from employees only.
I would love to try my 2 inch. But afraid of consequences.

Short Running shorts are probably more acceptable because they are .more common. We live near 2 colleges and the men's track and cross country teams are routinely training in very short shorts with high split sides and usually shirtless in warm weather.
No need to worry about acceptable if nothing is showing.
I pump gas shirtless in warm weather and that doesn't seem to be acceptable either.

Consider a trip to either Oregon or Vermont. What you're suggesting is legal in most of those two states. Within each state, a few cities have specifically enacted anti-nudity laws, but outside those specific cities, you're fine. Additionally, nudity is reasonably socially acceptable. Though, keep in mind, you cannot be seen getting undressed.
Another possibility is San Francisco. With the same restriction -- you cannot be seen getting undressed.
