Return to DiscussionsI am more interested in the idea of driving naked now. I dont have my truck anymore though. Its set up higher and I felt more secure not being seen. I would not get completely naked, but could at least free ball and adjust my shorts so that I was mostly naked below the waist. Now I have a Mazda, CX five and feel a little lower. Unless we are in the city with a lot of stoplights I dont think anybody on the highway wouldnt even notice. The laws in Texas seem to say that theres nothing illegal about it until you step out of the car or if you were being lewd and making sure other people can see you and your car. Does anybody else have any other input? I can see you doing it on a long highway drive
I usually drive to HH, or Bob Wentz in a thong. At HH, being nude is an offense and they do issue citations over it. I SUP at Wentz, and once on the lake am usually nude. No issues with that in several years.
I visit friends up in Milam County and have driven nude on those trips. It's typically uneventful although I got stuck in traffic going through Round Rock a couple of times and that was a bit concerning since I drive a 124 Spider and the top was down. It was even during off-peak times, so what can you do except put the top up, or be cool?
In the Greater Austin area I don't think people pay much attention, too busy playing with cellphones! Last summer I was giving joyrides in the 124 (top down) and the women stripped naked within a block of beginning the ride. There was no reaction from any other vehicle. We were in South Austin, and I guess it reflects that Austin is a pretty chill place.
I am leery of rednecks in big pickup trucks when in the boondocks.
I usually sit on a towel with the spare length between the sea and the door, ready to cover me if necessary.Similar here, but I have the extra length on the inner side. Perhaps we both want it to our right.
In my case it is because I don't want it where it can interfere with the handbrake and gear selector between the front seats - I'd be OK in the USA as I'm left handed.
