RE:But isn't?????
I enjoyed reading every ones views on nudism and exhibitionism. Since I love to be nude and I also like to be seen nude I have often questioned my true motives as well. I'm nude when I'm alone all the time. I get to work in construction nude all the time as well because I get to work alone on certain job sites. For me nudity is a natural fact of life and it should not be looked at as unacceptable. Man kind has made human nudity something that is inappropriate and socially unacceptable. I think it is human nature to feel the need to be accepted by others. To put my thoughts in relatable terms I'm going to do a comparison and I'm hoping you understand what I'm trying to express. Homosexuality was and sometimes still is looked upon as socially unacceptable. The gay community had to keep their lifestyle secret in order to be accepted. Homosexuals just wanted the freedom to be themselves and wanted to have the liberty to be publicly accepted. Two gay guys couldn't hold hands and publicly walk down the street because it was inappropriate and socially unacceptable. In todays changing world the gay community is experiencing the freedom and liberty to step out of the closet and publicly hold hands as they walk down the street. They are gaining public acceptance and they are experiencing the liberty to be themselves in a public setting, and I'm sure it feels good to not worry about offending someone on the street.
Do you see where I'm going with this? As a rule a nudist is socially unacceptable. Therefore, when I have opportunities to climb out of my "Nudist Closet" and I have the opportunity to openly be myself in a public setting I find it extremely liberating especially when the public accepts my nudity. The World Naked Bike Rides are very liberating. Most people who see me riding my bike naked through the city don't seem to care. Some people actually respond in positive ways. It feels good to have the liberty to be a public nudist! Does that make me an exhibitionist? It feels good when clothed strangers cheer me on and want to get a picture with me as a nudist. Does that make me an exhibitionist? Trust me, when I'm legally publicly naked on a bike ride or at an event, there are people who see me naked that think I'm a pervert who is going to Hell for eternity. Do I live my life for them, or do I live my life with the liberty of being a public nudist? I enjoy going to the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco because it is an opportunity to experience the freedom of public acceptance. This year I wore ball weights and walked around naked at the fair. I was amongst thousands of people. I was socially accepted and I made it a point to pose for pictures with lots of ladies who found it fun to pose for pictures with a friendly, naked man with ball weights and a chain on. I like the positive attention and the opportunity to put smiles on the ladies faces. I'm not standing naked next to a clothed lady at the fair for sexual satisfaction, I'm doing it for the liberty and social acceptance.
That being said, I actually wouldn't mind posing for pictures with gay guys. The only reason I try not to pose naked with gay guys is because I am not gay. Pictures of me with gay men could easily be interpreted as I am gay as well. If my naked pictures are to be floating around in the internet world I want them to be a reflection of who I am. Men have attractive naked bodies but woman are far more attractive to me, therefore, I want my picture viewers to know I am a nudist who is not gay.

You have an interesting point of view and your argument is well thought out. Well done.

** As a rule a nudist is socially unacceptable. ** ????

1. As someone who clearly frequents Our California State & National Parks NUDE, I am surprised You did not get the Memo from @NatlParkService on the MILLIONS of folks who preceded the immigrants to the Golden State: **The men walked naked.** on the #MojaveTribe of the Greater Bay Area. ( See My latest upload if the anonymous tn censors have not yet re-moved it. .... ).

2. That & The Current, Centuries Old, Official Vatican Doctrine clearly states that Social Public Naturism & Nudism is Recognized as being Sanctified & Blessed By The Church as well as The Almighty HimSelf.

3. In Your Travels abroad, it is a pity You never got a chance to visit India, the 2nd Largest Nation on Earth, where Social Pubilc Nudism is not only legal but Sanctified & Revered, Legally protected & or largely left alone. There are probably also more Exhibtionistic BALLSweight Enthusiasts in India than anywhere in the USA who rival some of Your Finest exploits.
