Return to DiscussionsIrma is on land now of course (it's almost 8:00 pm Sunday) but the most serious winds won't hit our area until about 1:30 am Monday and won't peak here in the middle of central Florida until about 6:30 am Monday. Then a few hours of it winding back down.
The party comes afterwards. That's when you find out what your friends need and how you can help. Usually a cookout where you grill up all the food that is thawing out in the freezer since power will be out for a few days (hopefully not weeks).
