10.4 Mile hike planned on the Florida Trail, in the Kissimmeee Prairie State Preserve. To the southeast of Lake Wales.

This hike ended up to be an 11.6 mile hike in Florida dry prairie. Only three shade trees on this hike. Two of us did this hike. We crossed the Kissimmee River on Lock S65-A.
