FREEBALLING NUDISTS

This is a group for men who enjoy Freeballing, going Commando, oh heck, just plain not wearing underwear! It is an un-necessary piece of very restrictive clothing. When we are nude, our equipment hangs free, why not when we are dressed! Share experiences and stories about your times freeballing, and how you got started.

Getting rid of underwear

Return to Discussions

When you stopped wearing underwear, how did you get rid of it?
All at once or gradually over time?
Donate, rag bin. trash intact or destroy.
Once I retired, I started freeballing more and more, but my underwear supply actually increased for 2 reasons.
First, I bought 2 string bikinis and 1 g string to see if I liked wearing skimpier underwear instead of none at all.
Second, my wife noticed that I was frequently not wearing underwear and some of mine was getting worn, so she bought me 6 more and opened the package and put them in my drawer without telling me.
Up to that point, I hadn't told her that I was intentionally wearing underwear less often, but then I did.
Since it made sense to me to not have more underwear now that I was rarely wearing it, I got rid of enough to get back to 10, little less than my normal supply over the years, Kept the g string and both string bikinis, but reduced the rest of my supply to 3 boxers and 4 briefs.
3 months later I was wearing underwear less and the g string never, so I got rid of one of each, leaving 6.
I had asked my wife to find a place to donate the first batch and she was still looking, so I gave her this group, except the g-string which I put in the trash. Shortly after this, after several unsuccessful attempts, she gave up on finding a charity that would takd used men's underwear and put it in the trash.
After after another 3 months, I got rid of one each of the remaining 3 types, leaving me with 3 total.
While I soon noted that I was wearing underwear so rarely that 1 should be enough, it took me several more months to get rid of the other 2, keeping just one briefs for doctors appointments.
3 months and 2 doctors appointments after that that, as part of an on line dare, I got rid of the last pair.
Each of these times I shredded the underwear while wearing it, until the only thing left was the waistband which then went in the trash with the shreds. Very liberating to reduce and destroy what i was wearing until there was nothing left and I was nude.
In retrospect, i should have jusst destroyed it all on my first day of retirement, and been totally underwear free and not wasted money on the 9 pair that were bought after I retired.

RE:Getting rid of underwear

I was part time freeballer at first, but now I never wear underwear at all. The last place I used to wear underwear was the doctors office in case I was asked to remove my pants, say to examine a knee or whatever. Eventually I have eliminated that as well and I have been asked to remove my pants on occasion, so I do. It's no big deal as it turns out.Since I no longer wear underwear the undies in the drawer are no longer needed. My wife was de cluttering our drawers the other day and said well you never wear these anyway and threw them out to make more room for other items.
Your items or hers?
My wife has appropriated my former underwear drawer plus two other drawers that I emptied when I got rid of most of my dress clothing and moved my jeans hoodies and dress shorts to my closet when I retired.

Was this part of the general cleaning out you mentioned in another thread?
If you and your wife got rid of more than 4 bags of clothing, you must have a lot of empty drawer space.
What "other items" would you put in it?

RE:Getting rid of underwear

Well I am retired now. I was a gardener for the city and last few years I stopped wearing underwear. Oh what a great feeling.
Now I am moving to a new home, guess what works for packing materials. lol But going through all my old sexy underwear was fun to see what I bought over the years. I will save them for special occasions. Or just for fun, when camping with the guy camping group.

Moving shortly after you retire is a good time to get rid of clothing you no longer need.
I have well less than half as much as I did when I was working,

I stopped wearing underpants about thirty years ago. But I don't even remember getting rid of them. I probably gave them to a thrift store. I know, gross, ew, and all that, but that's probably what I did.

I couldn't find a thrift store or even homeless shelter that wanted any used men's underwear

I couldn't find a thrift store or even homeless shelter that wanted any used men's underwearI would not be at all surprised if they just threw them away. Anytime I've taken stuff to a thrift store, I've always taken a big box of stuff and left it in their outdoor collection box at night. They, no doubt, went through it and toss the underpants. They were definitely clean.

One that blends creativity with practicality is cutting off the waistband and saving the rest for rags.My mother made cleaning rags out of her old knickers, but they were enormous.Had my semi-annual dermatologist appointment yesterday and wore underwear for the first time since I tossed my last brief swimsuit.Felt more confining than ever.Considering tossing my only pair of underwear and going without next time.I must admit, however, that 3 times in the past I have done this and wound up buying a pair when my next appointment arrived.Ripped up my last pair and threw the scraps in the trash. Now completely underwear free. That was the easy part. The difficultly will be not caving in and buying one pair for my next dermatologist appointment like I have done more than once in the past.Solved the problem by buying a light weight solid color swim brief with no drawstring. While I intend to use it primarily for swimming and sunning, I can wear it under my pants or shorts if necessary. No need to ever own underwear again!Went to the dermatologist wearing them my pants recently.Felt weird having them on.After the exam. I took them off and put them in one of the large cargo pockets in my pants since I had errands to do on the way home!
I went to the dermatologist for my 6 month exam today. I put black swim briefs in my cargo shorts pocket and when I took my clothes off in the examination room, I slipped them on. When the doctor examined me, I reminded him that I swam and sunned nude so he knew that he should check everything. We talked about reason why some people swim and sun nude and other don't. That lead me to comment that some people don't wear underwear and how did that work since his staff always tells me to leave my underwear on. He replied that he has staff say that because he believes that is what most patients prefer but some patients are comfortable being nude for the exam and he has no problem with that. Now I know that I don't have to bring the swim brief next time. I should have asked sooner!

RE:Getting rid of underwear

Had my first dermatologist appointment without underwear a few months ago and have another one next week.
More convinced than ever that I should have asked sooner.
