I stopped wearing underwear in my 30s.. at first just when wearing jeans, then short, then just for work.. then I said enough of this and stopped. Just lets be feel closer to being naked.

No undies for more than 10 years with the exception of work events where the slacks I am wearing may show off things in a distracting way.I noticed the comment by minimalist75 about Dr. visits. I especially would not wear undies for my annual dermatology check. All of my body has been in the sun and I want all of my body checked!

Had my semi-annual dermatologist appointment yesterday and wore underwear for the first time since I tossed my last brief swimsuit.
Felt more confining than ever.
Considering tossing my only pair of underwear and going without next time.
I must admit, however, that 3 times in the past I have done this and wound up buying a pair when my next appointment arrived.

Ripped up my last pair and threw the scraps in the trash.
Now completely underwear free.
That was the easy part.
The difficultly will be not caving in and buying one pair for my next dermatologist appointment like I have done more than once in the past.

I went to the dermatologist for my 6 month exam today. I put black swim briefs in my cargo shorts pocket and when I took my clothes off in the examination room, I slipped them on. When the doctor examined me, I reminded him that I swam and sunned nude so he knew that he should check everything. We talked about reason why some people swim and sun nude and other don't. That lead me to comment that some people don't wear underwear and how did that work since his staff always tells me to leave my underwear on. He replied that he has staff say that because he believes that is what most patients prefer but some patients are comfortable being nude for the exam and he has no problem with that. Now I know that I don't have to bring the swim brief next time. I should have asked sooner!

I don't even own underwear.

Although underwear used to serve a useful purpose, that hasn't been the case for a very long time -- well, unless you wear very expensive dry-clean-only outer garments. I don't own any such thing.
