When is it inappropriate to freeball?
Return to DiscussionsI freeball almost all the time but someone told me that they think it's pervy to freeball at the gym. I wear the usual almost knee length short so it's not like I'd fall out when I sat on a bench so I don't know why it would be considered pervy.
What do you guys think? When is it inappropriate to freeball?
well nobody mentioned weather it was freeballing wearing pants or shorts but it shouldn't really make a difference, about the only time i will wear underwear is with dress pants - and i'm retired so can't remember last time i wore them. it took awhile to get super comfortable going commando but i will never go back. i especially like spring and summer - yes shorts everyday when that breeze comes up the leg opening, never can understand why women want to wear pants when they can wear skirts and have their pubs cool everday - wells thats if they go commando too.
Peoples' opinions are just that - their opinions. Yours count just as much as theirs do. There are established rules of etiquette, but I doubt that any of them address whether or not your cock and balls should be allowed to move freely while you're exercising at the gym. I can't imagine any good reason that you shouldn't wear what keeps you comfortable on the exercise floor, and no more than that, especially these days when the shorts tend to be the length that they are. Maybe someone thinking that is a holdover from days when the old short shorts would cause a scandal if one leaned back on a weight bench.
I don't know whether anyone other than guys near me in the locker room have ever noticed that I'm not wearing anything under my gym shorts. Interestingly, the only time I've ever noticed for sure that someone was showing a well-defined outline in theirs was a young guy who was on the exercise floor one day, and then it was only because he was wearing some light gray ones made of soft cotton that fit him fairly tightly. I've kept a watch out, mind you, but so far that's the only time. I can tell, however, that lots of guys wear briefs and a few still wear jock straps. You can tell mostly when they bend over to adjust an equipment setting or squat to lift a weight.
What's funny about this whole conversation is that we're all nudists. As such, I think most of us believe in the relative beauty of the human body, and believe that it should never be wrong to be nude. I myself believe that we should be able to be nude anywhere, anytime.
But, we are members of a larger society. While I freeball all of the time when I'm not working, I fear that I submit to the societal norms and expectations and wear underwear when working or dressed up. That said, I love the freedom of having my penis and balls free, so I wear boxers. With a large defined head, you can usually see the outline anyways. So, if you're covered, per society's expectations, I don't think seeing outlines should be of concern. As someone said earlier, if people are looking that closely, they want to see things!
My goal is to find somewhere that I can be nude 24/7!
I think this says more about the guy who said this to you than it does about the activity itself. Perhaps he has issues that he needs to deal with that such a thing would even occur to him. This is again sexual impulses vs living natural which I'm sorry to say is a problem for many people. No youshouldn't have to adjust your lifestyle to accommodate someone who has a problem like this. A man should always have self control but more to the point, I'm not sure that people who have deeply entrenched beliefs hiding just under the surface can really change all that much. So my friend you just go on enjoying your life and style of living and let this guygo on doing whatever it is he does. After all who suffers more the guy who has these problems ora guy like you that just wants to livenaturally?Hope this helps....all the best
