Shorter ShortsReturn to Discussions
Some of my gym shorts are wearing out so I ordered 2 new pair yesterday.
Since our grandson is here more and I am going less places that expect better dress, my gym shorts have seen a lot of use lately
My current supply has inseams in the 8" (20 cm) range, well above the knee but not really short.
Wanted to try something shorter so I ordered one pair with a 4" inseam and one with 5".
Will be fine at home, but don't know how it will work when I eventually get back to the gym.
I buy gym shorts from a company called Clifford Lenox and they have shorts called leg day shorts. Being 64 and free in them...you can get quite the breeze Also really high quality shorts too
Checked them out. Look good but kind of expensive.
If you wear the tan ones in public without a shirt, people may need to look twice to see if you are wearing anything!
I just got these 3" inseam and they come without a liner. Super comfy!!https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T9N1LTM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'd order some of these if I could make sense of the sizing but my waist measures 32" to 34" and the largest size quoted is 22".
I think that is 22 inches wide from side to side when you lay them flat on a table. They say sizes run true so a large is probably your size.
That is correct you have two measurements relaxed and stretched. So take your favorite shorts that have an elastic waist and measure them side to side and you will have another perfect fit. Hope that helps!
I have always preferred shorter inseams. I have many pairs of the nylon running shorts made by Soffe. They call them Ranger Panty. Basic military PT shorts. but lately come in many colors and patterns. They are fairly cheap. Sometimes on sale as low as $10. Good quality. They come lined so no underwear necessary. It is what I wear to the gym. They are super comfortable especially for cardio
My standard shorts are from Game Gear TR623. Inseam is 2 1/2". They come with a liner that I cut out and they have a New Zealand split (that means 3/4 of the way up) but I remove the stiches and get it to split all the way to the waistband.
If I had to wear anything I think the Ranger Panty or Silkies would be the most light weight and comfortable.Sort of like my new boxers, short and light weight but they have a open fly. But I would never wear my boxers in public lol
Would you remove the liner?
