RE:Always going commando

I had my first nude physical when I was 25.He replied that he has staff say that because he believes that is what most patients prefer but some patients are comfortable being nude for the exam and he has no problem with that. Now I know that I don't have to bring the swim brief next time. I should have asked sooner! The nurse brought me into the room and did the normal routine. When she left, she said strip and put this gown on. I stripped, but left the gown off.

My thought was this. I'm totally comfortable being nude. The doctor is a medical professional who has seen countless naked people. He's going to poke and prod everywhere and look at everything. What purpose does that gown actually serve? None that I could think of.

The doctor comes in and says, "Oh, you're nude." And then just went on with the exam.
