FREEBALLING NUDISTS

This is a group for men who enjoy Freeballing, going Commando, oh heck, just plain not wearing underwear! It is an un-necessary piece of very restrictive clothing. When we are nude, our equipment hangs free, why not when we are dressed! Share experiences and stories about your times freeballing, and how you got started.

Where in the world do men not wear underwear?

I have been thinking underwear are fairly new to society, before underwear we (men)simply wore just our pants. Which countries are men simply free Balling now?

Not sure about your assumption that underwear is a new thing. Seems underwear has been around for a while. Garments under expensive garments to keep them clean is a pretty old concept.

Scotland. Men wearing kilts (as I often do) should wear nothing under the kilt.

From what I know, it wasn't common until the 19th century. During the American Civil War, Union troops were issued underwear but Confederate were not. Don't know if it was for Financial, climate or cultural differences.

Underwear is actually fairly old. It used to serve a meaningful purpose. People seldom bathed and washed their outer clothing even less often. Thus, underwear was used to help keep their outer clothing clean longer.

But underwear has not be necessary for most people for a very long time.

Japan! Fundoshi! ancient loincloth style. Used by labourers/farmworkers as outwear look it up. If I have to have undies on then these are what I prefer

Not true. I live close to Japan and all men use underwear. It might be possible that ONLY a community in a given country don't use, but it is not probable to find a WHOLE country where ALL men don't wear it.

Yes quite right, I should have said Japanese males used to wear Fundoshi until the mid 1940's when more westernised underwear became the norm. As I understand what I have read, some types of Fundoshi were used as out wear as much as underwear in more rural areas.

Obviously I am no expert, but I have done a little reading into this one.

Ok, that's different, now you are writing more specific. However, Almost all men use underwear in Japan.

At what point exactly did I write or assume almost all Japanese men did not use underwear? I didn't!
