Who decided women should shave their legs and underarms?
Return to DiscussionsHey group, just remembered reading an article years ago on the Million$ spent by US razor companies to get Mexican women to shave their legs. Up to that time those with more Spanish blood were not about to hide their hairy legged proof of being more European. (I know, racist.) So I went looking for that bit of history, and have yet to find it a second time. I did find something by Cecil Adams in his Straight Dope column.
