Gay Cap D'Agde

A group for gay men who live or visit the naturist village ofCap d'Agde

I'd love to hear the latest reports on Cap d'Agde. The condition of the streets and upkeep overall of the naturist quarter. I'd also like to know if it's mainly clothed in the village now, and how comfortable is it to go nude 24/7 while staying in the village.

RE:Reports

in my 10 or so years of visiting cap d'agde - i'd say not much has changed as far as the village itself goes. the three big apartment complexes have done some renovations over the last few years (painting, general upkeep, etc..), so the buildings look decent. during the day, the village is mostly nude (maybe 60%?), the beach, as always, is basically 100% nude, and the village at night is mostly clothed. in fact, i've never really seen that many naked people at night in the village, although there are more in the campground. personally, i stay naked 24x7 and have no problems with that - other than a couple of restaurants that don't like to seat naked people (even if you bring a towel to sit on). and to them, i always say, "either seat me naked, or i'll take my business elsewhere." oh - and the gay club (qakc), which has this odd rule that you must wear something to enter, but then you can immediately remove it. makes no sense, but whatever.

i think the non-nudity at night has to do with a few things: it tends to be cool/windy, many people like to get dressed up for dinner, and a lot of non-nudist people come into the village at night for the restaurants and bars. no one has ever said anything to me about being naked, and in fact, i enjoy the attention it brings of being one of the few naked people out and about.

in summary, cap d'agde is still an amazing, naked place to relax and have fun.
