This group is for all those nudists who live in Georgia (like me!), or visit Georgia, or have any connection to the state. I noticed there are state groups for other states but none for our great state, "the empire state of the south."

Return to DiscussionsYes, I hope to run it this year. The last few year's it has been less of getting the nerve up to do it and more of either a time or financial isssue.
Last year I almost went but the weather basically changed my mind. I haven't registered yet but hope / plan to do so within the next week. What the hell, not really a bucket list item but sounds like fun!
I ran it last year. It looked like it would rain but it held off and turned into a pretty nice day. The previous year though was a constant drizzle and in the low 50s. Unlikely I'll do that again. The nice part about running nude is that you don't worry about getting your clothes wet in the rain. (Other than shoes. LOL) And I've done other races while clothed in far worse conditions. :)
I visited Serendipity in 2019 for Memorial Day with the Meetup group. Was a little nervous when I first arrived but when the man checking me in at the desk was wearing a shirt and nothing else I knew that I was in the right place. Both sexes of all ages, from toddlers to obviously elder adults, and everything was a day of relaxing and enjoying. Pool, hot tub, even the dinner naked.
Also spent three days at Native Woods in 2009 as the only visitor mid-week. That was great except the weather was rainy for one of the days and the mosquitos wouldn't quit.
I'll be at PV and be there with the birthday suit. Just never ran a nude 5k before! :)
After the initial butterflies I'm sure you'll have a great time. I'd be happy to run with you if you like. I'll be wearing the orange running shoes and nothing else. LOL
it was good to meet you at this year's Fig Leaf 5k. Really enjoyed the day I had there, although that course was a beast!
