It seems when I visited on April 1st, the snow melt had not yet started in earnest and the water level was much lower than it is now.
Pretty much all the trails are flooded, unless you go to the far East end to cut over, which I did, but I cut over a bit too soon as I encounterd a section of mud an dwater I had to walk though. However when goihng back, I wetn further East and found dry trails.
I am told the area known as "Four Corners" is underwater.
Over all the water levels are about 5-6 feet higher than they were lkast month.
I did remember to "check in" on the Nudist Compass app on my phone
I arrived about 11 AM, and stayed until about 3 PM. About 1 PM a strong warm breeze came up out of the Groge blowing East to West, which made a nice tail wind when 8i rode my bike bakic home.
For those interested in riding a bike out, you can go up Halsey and then right before the Troutdale sign Tturn left. Behind th eoutlet stores there is a bike path that goes over the Sandy River. From there it is legal to ride onto the I-84 at the Lewis and Clark freeway entrance. When you reach to Corbett exit take it. I usually stop at the top for a water break, then take the ramp back onto the freeway. You take all exits for safety reasons, both coming and going. You can take the Halsey bus to the Outlets in Troutdale and ride from there There are no bike racks at Rooster Rock, so you have to lock up to a tree ot a part of a sign post. About half the time I meeet someone with a truck who gives me a ride home. nudists are so nice and friendly.
