The day for the 2017 Portland World naked Bike Ride has been announce, although the start loction will nto be given until a coupe weeks before the event. The big ride which will start about 8:30 PM, attracts abotu 10,000 riders each hear.

However, there are naked bike rides all that day. The other rides will be posted on shift2bikes.org in their calendar, but you have to hunt for them among all the other pedalpoooza events listed. Look for the naked rides to start beignposted about a month before the big ride. The other naked rides combined are referred to as "The Century Ride" because if you do them all along with the big WNBR, you will have ridden aobut 100 kilometers. The Century Ride is broken up into smaller rides for those who dont' want to ride the whole thing, and each smaller ride ends at the start of the next naller ride with time to res a little between smaller rides. It is possible to ride naked the entire day, but if you plan on that plan also to bring lots of water and snacks and remember to also wear sunscreen.

I myself usually skip the third ride which goes off road, and instead i go to eat and rest up a bit and rejoin the riders after the off road ride. Althoguh this year, I may nto make any rides because i got priced out of my Portland apartment and am now living with my sister in Battlegound, where public transit on this side of the river sucks (I don't/can't drive).
