First Experience of Cock Rings?
Return to DiscussionsIm not sure where I remember the first time. But I was so lucky to find a store in Arizona Phoenix. Where I could get the correct size. For years Ive been making my own out of leather or copper. My next step is to make my own out of silver. But once you get used to them OMG
I recently purchased a 55mm gland/cock ring from Amazon. This ring was made of heavy stainless steel and is very nice unfortunately though, I found mine to be a little too large for my anatomy so I gave my ring to one of our closest naturist friends.
It's difficult to purchase something like this buying from a picture, I believe that I'll go to our local adult toy store and see what's available.
First ring was purely decorative probably 20 year's back but then the ranges was limited. Remember it was a heavy steel number. I often wear one public and private. Clothed and nude. Loose and comfortable. Must have a dozen or so. Silver, gold, jade, etc etc. Current favourite is a simple gold ring. Enjoy

If someone could give me some info on cockrings I would appreciate it. And do wives like to see them on their husbands? What purpose does it serve when not being sexual?

You should try a metal ring. I have found out about 3 types.
Glan ring is for the head. Very comfortable to wear all day.
The shaft ring is different,because it fits when you are soft. When you get hard it gets to tight to stay on. And I have found ouch that the aluminum ring is a lot lighter. And I have noticed my foreskin is getting longer wearing it.
The cock ring itself, which goes around everything that almost needs to be fitted by a professional. Try adult store thats quiet, where you can take some time to try different sizes on. They can get expensive to keep purchasing the wrong size. but then it can be kind of fun to go into the store and have the sales person helping you. LOL But you can vary the weight and sizes. I've known about cockrings for over 30 years . But like you I just got my first rubber cock ring but not sure what the purpose is for

Soon after getting into brief style swimsuits I started thinking about enhancing the bulge. Part of the solution is due to the right cut of the suit, but I also wanted to fill it to best effect.
I started with various elastic bands but found the rubber could not be tolerated for long, even if some creative effects can be achieved! A small section of toilet roll core as a cock ring also was uncomfortable, if momentarily very effective. At least it could be torn off if it all got too much. It would have been problematic in water anyway.
Following that was one made of 3/4" non-roll elastic from my wife's sewing box. Very effective but again not so comfortable. It was less than 1.5" diameter unstretched and double thickness so remained tight, perhaps too tight. Quite effective in helping me really fill a swimsuit pouch, though. Everything stays firmly pushed into the fabric.
The next development was an o-ring set, thanks to Aldi. Ostensibly for leaky pipes (yeah, right), I've only really used one or two of the 30 available sizes and found them to be reasonably satisfactory as cock rings. Flexibility with a little stretchiness helps in putting them on and taking them off and I found I could use varying numbers of rings to create different widths. I usually settled on two or four as desired. Trying a different size was as easy as going back to the box. Since my penis starts to leak almost as soon as it touches Lycra, I also found I could wear a condom over my entire package and it would stay firmly anchored for as long as I wanted. This prevents stains in my suit and firms the bulge even more as the shaft's profile is enhanced beneath the suit with the assistance of the condom. The rings and the condom were not noticable (except for a slight sheen from the rubber through really thin fabrics), just the bulge. By now, I was using my knee to make a small hole in the sand under the centre of my towel if I was laying out on my stomach.
My most recent development is the use of Zenith 40 mm x 6 mm stainless rings. (I have my suspicions about why the hardware store stocks that size - must be a reasonable seller.) They are more rigid (and thicker) than the o-rings, but work well for me.
I find it is never too difficult to remove them when flaccid, and erections still go down in a reasonable time. Again, I can place them side by side (taking care not to pinch skin) with either one, two or four depending on my mood. The longest I have worn two was for about 40 hours (but no sleeping on your stomach), and four for 10 hours. They add weight that the other solutions lacked, which feels nice, especially under loose shorts. I am yet to see how the stainless rings appear under unlined swimsuits: the glistening may be visible in the sun depending on the fabric. It's certainty noticeable under tan-through fabrics.
My glans has also not escaped attention, again with rubber bands and o-rings and then Zenith 28 mm x 4 mm stainless rings that match the 40 mm ones. I have 8 that really add some weight although that more for under loose shorts rather than a swimsuit with a pouch! I've never had a problem with them not staying in place until I decide to remove them, thankfully.
I also tried my wedding band over my glans which is possible for me but super tight. My glans is probably noticeable enough in my swimsuits without additional enhancement, especially when unlined.
As for being nude, I am not really a jewelry type person, but did wear a single Zenith ring once to see how it went. It certainty did glisten in the sunlight while pushing my package forward. No risk of an erection, but I've never had problems of that kind
at the beach anyway. It was physically comfortable but, for me, less emotionally comfortable as I am not used to drawing that much attention to myself and, without asking around, I felt it to be quite obvious. But then, my swimsuits tend to be quite daring and in that situation, my usual thought is only about what I can get away with in the circumstances. Hmmm.
When others wear them in a CO setting, they do seem to stand out at least as much as any other jewellery, when made of metal. The only rival for noticeability is probably a heavy-gauge PA or seriously-intensive tattoos, both of which are effectively permanent. Whether the temporal aspect of the cock ring makes it less or more legitimate is an interesting question.
Perhaps I'll push the boundaries and try again, with a single cock ring or maybe even a double cock ring complemented by a single glans ring. Any more than that is probably screaming 'Look at me!' way too loud. And not the cock ring complemented by my wedding band over my glans. The fit would be fine, they just don't match.
