Two workouts a day: insanity or just crazy?

Return to Discussions

Today's workout. First workout - morning. Row 45 mins at avg 120 watts. 2 minute rest between 15 minute intervals. Then abs, three sets push-ups, pull ups and squats on balance/bosu ball. Second workout - evening. Teach one hour cycle class. Pushed the students hard. Feeling great now. Beer tastes like nectar. Tomorrow will take bike class in morning and then lift in evening. Crazy crazy crazy fun! Any other nudists in love with double daily exercise? Namaste!

Walking and hiking great additions. Thank you! Just coming back from cooler Seattle's fall, haven't been nude outdoors for runs or hikes in three weeks. i will do so next weekend. In meantime, my indoor dual workouts have been mornings alternating rowing on Concept machine for 50 minutes. No stop. 10,600 yards best today. And on next day, running/walking on treadmill for 60 mins with boxing arms. Balance and abs each morning. Then lift in evening -- alternating push and pull routines with weights. Push-ups. Pull-ups too. Bench dips. Tomorrow morning, back to rowing and core workout routine three mornings a week with lady friend. My big weight lifting bud married and moved to London. What's with that?? LOL. So, awaiting the gym gods to find me new one! (A nudist sauna-loving fitness fanatic into science and football and philosophy and beer would be asking too much?) Best to all!!! You can surely do a double workout in a day. You just want to watch the amount of cardio that you're doing vs the calories that you are taking in. Some people diet and just do cardio and end up with the skinny-fat look. Resistance training to fatigue, and then even progressive overload, are important to prevent becoming like that.

I use to. Lucky to get in a single any more. It is good to spice it up at times, but continually will just wear you out and minimize your gains

Thanks Tyrlis and Southern! Agreed. Am so enjoying the double-day workouts, but listening to bod on food and rest. Lots of sleep. Have cut caffeine way down now. Fats. Lots of fats from various sources. And, shocking for me, I'm trying not to workout on weekends. Just rebuild and recover then. So far, bod reports that's all working. Especially the extra sleep. Best to all! Thanks for all the thoughts. It's great to have fellow nudists so devoted and excited with fitness! Pirate

At great YMCA near Tacoma, Washington for 10 days. Great lifting, cardio, swimming. So, morning workout is run, row, swim or cardio machine. Rowing twice a week. Really enjoying adding rowing into regimen. Row for an hour. Today 12630 meters. Felt great!! Works upper and lower body. Tonight will lift chest and triceps, legs. Working on setting good unafraid to be naked example in the lockers. Young guys often afraid. So, try to show a joy and happiness running around nekkid there! Hope it reduces their fears! Best to all

The only time I do twice a day is if I feel like I didn't work myself hard enough the first time hahaha.
I try to tire my muscles to exhaustion and not leave my body wanting more. Once is usually enough unless you want to drop some body fat much faster. Body builders usually go twice a day.
