Return to DiscussionsHi, am from CT, about 25 mins from NY line at I84 in Danbury. Even though am in NYC metro, and within radius of epicenter of this group, I have not found too many naturists in this region. And, i think, between Route 8 in CT, and the NY Thruway in NY, from like the Mass Pike in the North, to the Merritt Parkway in the south, there's just gotta be a bunch of naturists who have gone, or plan to go to, various venues in and near this region, from Gunnison to the Ledges, and all in between. Would like updated info on places like Mohonk Preserve and Juniper Woods. And, are there any other places, even those that were rumored to be naturist friendly, like Harriman Reservoir in Rockland Cty, or along the Hudson on the eastern side, just south of Bear Mtn bridge area? Are there any non landed groups, even on an informal, loose knit basis in the area--or plans on forming any? Any info on any of this would be greatly appreciated. Take care, and hope we can all have a good sunny and warm summer after all the long drawn out winter.
I am close to the Merritt and Route 8. I am new so not a good source yet but I have tried Solair in the NE corner of CT. It is a ride but I loved it. Can't wait to get back there in a few weeks. I'd also like to hear about the places you mention plus Berkshire Vista up Route 7 in MA.
